History of BVD - Bodo von Dincklage

Foundation
BVD Spedition was founded in Sendenhorst in 1962 by Bodo von Dincklage, who gave the company its name. At the beginning, the company premises with a size of 1000 m² offered enough space for the still very manageable number of transport vehicles and for the required storage capacities.

In the following decades, a healthy company policy and a steadily growing number of transport orders made it necessary in both to enlarge the company premises and to increase the number of vehicles.

BVD today: Your strong transport partner
Since 1999, the company has been run as an owner-managed family business in the second generation by Ulli von Dincklage. With a lot of entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility and practical know-how, BVD Spedition has developed into a strong logistics company over the past decades. Today, the company premises cover a total area of 50,000 m² with a workshop, a truck wash, a petrol station and a heated warehouse of over 5,000 m^2.

BVD Spedition becomes BVD Logistik
With effect from 01-01-2018, BVD Spedition GmbH & Co. KG transferred its operative business to BVD Logistik GmbH & Co. KG. Mr. Ulli von Dincklage and Mr. Klaus Schwarzer were named as managing directors.

BVD Logistik GmbH & Co. KG is part of the Schwarzer Group.
